Do you ever wish you had the guts to step up on social media and be seen?
No matter how many webinars and training classes you do you don’t feel confident enough to jump on Periscope, speak up in Facebook groups, show your face on YouTube, right?
Here’s what you know: If you don’t step up you can’t generate the income you desire and your business won’t get the traction you need to fulfill your vision.
Here’s the deal: You playing small stops someone who needs your gift, product or service from being touched. So it’s time to take bold action.
Now you’re thinking um I know that Lisa but how do I do it?
[Tweet “The key to stepping up and stepping out is to max your confidence level. @boldnewbiz”]
Boldly telling the world who you are, what you do and what you offer takes guts. So doing some behind the scenes prep is necessary.
So here’s how you get things going.
Make a list of your accomplishments.
After all you are a rock star, right? List your experiences, triumphs, education name it all. When you’re done writing, read your wins aloud.
Begin doing affirmations two to three times a day.
Affirmations are a powerful way to change your mindset and power up your self esteem.
Start giving away free stuff!
This does two things: First, it gives you immediate feedback on what your offering.
Plus, it gives you an opportunity for people to tell you how wonderful your product or service is.
Um, make sure it’s a bite size freebie so they can pay for the full deal.
Kill da noise!
Unsubscribe from lists of people who make you feel like crap because they seem to be doing everything you aren’t just yet.
Depart from groups of people who kill your vibe.
And for crying out loud, stop watching what “they” do (who is they?) you get the point. #foyos Focus On Your Own Stuff
Stop caring what people will think.
This is probably the biggest step you can take. Throw your cares to the wind and just do it!
And be sure not to look at how many views, clicks or comments you got. The key here is to just get out there.
It’s time to stop being scared and get social, so you can play big and stop missing the opportunity to build the business you keep dreaming about.
